Ingunn Birkeland established the brand INGUNN BIRKELAND OSLO in 2005. She has a Masters degree from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
Each of her collections contain showpieces with time-consuming and detailed techniques, and the artistic expression is central to the work. In addition to the collections, Birkeland designs and produces tailored dresses for red carpet occasions, parties and weddings.
In August 2011 she launched her first shoe collection.
